Here we are.  AVALANCHE 2016 11th edition is almost here! The team is working really hard to make this meeting, a memorable winter event.  Here are the latest updates about the event.

• A new series of more than 20 new caches have been published in the great park of Bois de Belle-Rivière. All of them will be enabled on the day of the event and ready to be found. To make things easier, a GPX file, with all the park’s geocaches and the link to download the Wherigo cartridge has been added in the ‘’Download’’ section on the official event page for Avalanche 2016 .
• Like last year, the “Geocacher’s Logbook” will be handed out at the event, to help you around the activities and games of the day. The “Geocacher’s Logbook” is already available in the “Download” section on the official event page for Avalanche 2016 so you can familiarize yourself with the document before the event.
• Do not forget to fill out your registration on the official event page for Avalanche 2016 ON TOP of your usual «Will Attend».  This will be most valuable to us, to assess the number of actual participants of the event.
• The organizers are always looking for volunteers willing to get involved during the day. Avalanche 2016, 11th edition is fast approaching.  The organizing committee is working really hard to offer you a memorable caching experience.

This year's novelties include, many new original caches that will be placed and publish just in time for the event.  Many traditional caches, some mystery and multi caches and also, a Letterbox and a brand new Wherigo will be waiting to entertain children of all ages!

Don’t forget to visit the official Avalanche 2016 website to get information on the latest developments of the day.  Also, it is really important that you complete your registration on that same website, on top of your “Will Attend”.

L’été étant maintenant derrière nous, le temps de Fêtes approche à grand pas. L’Association Géocaching Québec est donc heureuse de vous inviter à sa huitième édition de son populaire Brunch de Noël

Cette année, étant soumis à l'inflation, celui-ci se nommera

L’événement se tiendra le samedi 5 décembre 2015 de 11h00 à 14h00 au Buffet des Continents, 2929 chemin Gascon, Mascouche, Qc, J7L 3X7. 

Pour votre participation, vous devez apporter dans un simple sac brun "anonyme" un cadeau d'une valeur de 7 dollars! Le cadeau que vous offrirez devra avoir un lien quelconque avec le géocaching. Laissez aller votre imagination, soyez original. Vous pouvez également ajouter une petite note à l'intérieur du sac indiquant pourquoi vous avez choisi d'offrir ce présent en particulier.

Pour votre information, les prix par personne sont les suivants: Adulte : 14.50$, Enfant de 5 à 12 ans : 7.75$, Bambin de 4 ans et moins: Gratuit (jus fontaine et café inclus). Ces prix n'incluent pas les taxes et le pourboire.

Nous avons prévu la réservation cette année pour 130 personnes. Nous avons peu de temps afin de confirmer le nombre réel de participants, alors répondez vite s.v.p!
